What is the adoption process?
When you find a pup that you are interested in, apply through out application tab. A member of the HART team will be in contact to complete all of the necessary steps of the adoption process. Once approved, a meeting will be set for you to meet the pup. If you hit it off, then you will need to submit your adoption agreement form and the adoption fee. You will be able to take your new family member home the same day!
Will you hold a dog for me?
No, unfortunately, we are unable to place any animal on hold for any reason. If you are unsure about the adoption, we would encourage your to consider our foster-to-adopt program.
How does your foster-to-adopt program work?
You will apply to become a foster pup parent. Once approved and all paperwork completed, you will be able to begin the fostering process. Once you have picked up your foster pup, you will have 5 days to decide if you want to keep your foster pup or if you want to help them find their forever home! This is a great option for families with young children.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes, we are a non-profit and able to provide tax forms at your request. We do not automatically send out tax forms. Please sent all requests to hartexcutive@gmail.com.
Can I meet more than one dog at once?
Yes and no. It depends on the location of the pup. Some pups are housed together, while others are with their foster families and by themselves. Please feel free to ask.
